200-Hour Teacher Training

Study course includes:

  • 8-limbs of Yoga and the Chakra System
  • Sanskrit
  • Pranayama and Meditation
  • Anusara Universal Alignment Principles
  • Restorative Yoga Principles
  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Ayurvedic Study
  • Inversions

Certification Program

80 Hours of Workshops
Can take up to two Teacher Trainings to complete

50-Hours of Home Study and Practice

  • 3-Hours of Group Practice per week – (30-Hours)
  • Home Work and Book Reading Assignment – (20-Hours)

50-Hours of Yoga Practice and Observation
Complete 45 classes and 5 observation/assisting classes

  • 3 yoga classes/week
  • 1 spin-yoga/week
  • 1 yoga style of your choice at Qi or anywhere else

Community Service Project
Find a non-profit service group that you can teach a yoga program to help the members to grow and heal. You will be responsible to work with a group leader to design a program and to teach at least 6 classes over a 2-6 week series

Teaching Practice
Required to teach 4 practice beginner classes to your friends and family.

Qi Prenatal Workshop

Prenatal Yoga will help you to connect mind, body, and spirit. It will also help to create a deeper connection with baby through yoga, visualizations, meditation, and relaxation.

This workshop will include a yoga flow with modifications for postures, poses that are specific to helping with certain pregnancy related disorders such as swelling, fatigue, aches and pain, meditation and pranayama exercises to help with labor.

Applying the principles of prenatal yoga to your everyday yoga practice will keep you energized, connected, and fit through your whole pregnancy.
