Qi Yoga Edgewater offers the following classes in our boutique studio space:
Qi Yoga: Qi Yoga is a powerful blend of breath and movement. This vinyasa style Yoga practice is rooted in the body's ideal skeletal and muscular alignment. Qi Yoga is intended to serve as the basis for all of our programs, the concept being that if our students have a better understanding of how the human body functions they will be more effective in all of their activities. Qi Yoga creates that body awareness to keep us active and safe many years into the future.
Qi Yoga - Sculpt: This program is designed to take our Qi Yoga program to the next level. We add hand weights to our Yoga flow to build strength and endurance, while also training our students to be aware of their limbs and engage the body mindfully.
Qi Water Flow: The perfect way to end you day! Class begins with a soft and gentle flow to warm the body and invite deeper stretches. Class will end with passive, restorative postures to rejuvenate the body and soul. Bring a long sleeved shirt and socks to make ensure that you stay warm as you dive deep into relaxation at the end of class.
Qi Yoga Foundations: Our Foundations class is perfect for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. Focus will be on alignment as it pertains to breathing, movement and yoga asana. Beginners will get the in depth alignment cues and hands on help that they need to have a strong yoga practice and veteran yogis will learn how to move deeper into the postures and fine tune every aspect of the asana.
