When Did You Start Practicing Yoga?
I have been taking yoga classes since September 1998 and in the last several years have become more and more dedicated to my yoga practice
What Has Yoga Done For You?
Yoga gives my body and mind peace. I am very athletic and can push myself too hard and my yoga practice enables me to reconnect with my body on a deeper more holistic level allowing for greater understanding of my body and self.
What Has QiCycle-yoga Done For You?
Spin/yoga combines my favorite parts of fitness into 1 class. The high energy cardiovascular workout fuels my athlete driven mindset to push myself to my limit and beyond and the yoga portion allows my body and mind to connect with the present moment and the power of breath and stillness.
What Do You Want To Teach?
Fitness and nutrition are a huge part of my life and I want to share the power of wellness with others. Teaching a nutrition class at Qi provides this opportunity to share my passion and education with others.
What Is Your Favorite Part Of Teaching?
The feeling of connecting with people in ways that they are encouraged, excited and motivated to pursue their wellness goals.
