When Did You Start Practicing Yoga?
A friend talked me into attending a class in 2006 and I have been hooked ever since!
What Has Yoga Done For You?
Yoga has transformed my life, not only physically, but mentally and emotionally. It is that connection to mind body that allows me to clear my mind and open my heart. I am more patient and steady on a daily basis because of yoga; it is my main stress reliever and it keeps me grounded.
What Has QiCycle-yoga Done For You?
Spin Yoga has inspired me to try different types of workouts (besides yoga). I also bought a bike and can’t wait to ride it around all summer; they won’t be able to get me off that thing!
What Do You Want To Teach?
I love teaching yoga and watching students transform their practice. It is just an awesome experience and more importantly it helps me to improve my practice and take it off my mat and into my life.
What Is Your Favorite Part Of Teaching?
I am not sure that I know yet, but I can’t wait to find out….
Favorite Quote
There are too many to have favorite(s), but I will throw one out there…
“Read, every day, something no one else is reading. Think, every day, something no one else is thinking. Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to do. It is bad for the mind to be always part of unanimity.” - Christopher Morley
Other Activities
Tennis, softball, bowling, biking, hiking, camping, President of the Sloan’s Lake Monster Fan Club (I Believe!), environmental stewardship, cuddling, leadership in any form, and playing the ukulele (ok – I was kidding about the ukulele).
