When Did You Start Practicing Yoga?
2000
What Has Yoga Done For You?
Yoga has calmed me, deepened my perspective, and has taught me how to love others and myself. Yoga has healed my physical body; keeping me supple and injury free in my adult life. Yoga has kept me young and will continue to allow me to defy age. Yoga gives me inner and outer peace – something to share with all my friends, family, students, and community.
What Has QiCycle-yoga Done For You?
Spin-Yoga was something that I started to create in 2001. At the time I was teaching spin and practicing yoga and I knew that they belonged together. It was then that I started realizing that the principles of yoga were in everything you do. To push past you’re mental and physical limits during an intense ride using the yoga breath, meditation, and mantra. Then to move to your yoga mat for a flow that unwinds your mind and body through a series of poses that lengthen your muscles, opens your heart, and rejuvenates you mind, body, and spirit, is and has been such an incredible experience for me. It has changed my physical body; making me stronger, leaner, and more flexible. It has changed my mental body by showing me how strong I am by teaching me that the mind will always give up before my body and to keep pushing on even when the ride or when life gets hard.
What Do You Want To Teach?
I teach because I am supposed to. I am following my dharma. I teach to give back to my students what spin, yoga, fitness, health and nutrition has given to me – physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I teach because I love.
What Is Your Favorite Part Of Teaching?
Watching my students transform.

Other Activities
I love the mountains in all ways – snowboarding, hiking, biking, and trail running. I read a lot, I go on adventures with my lab Bruiser, I am always with my friends, I paint, I travel, and I love to live my life everyday to my fullest potential.
Future Goals
I am about to become a first time mom and my future goal is to be a mom that loves her son to the fullest, to keep him protected, to teach him yoga, to offer him a life where he will grow up to be a good man; a man that will give back to the world all that he is given and more.
