When Did You Start Practicing Yoga?
July 2005
What Has Yoga Done For You?
Our society's response to disease and wellness is so often external medicine. Yoga has shown me the body's ability to heal itself from within.
What Has QiCycle-yoga Done For You?
Spin-Yoga has taught me a new way to apply yogic thinking to activities off the mat. Through a spin practice we can work the most critical muscle in the body, the heart, while applying the principles of patience and self-discipline used in our yoga.
What Do You Want To Teach?
I want to teach because of the positive impact yoga has had on my life. Everything, from my physical body through to my spirit, has shifted with the practice. I want to share this beautiful experience with the people in my community.
What Is Your Favorite Part Of Teaching?
When a student that struggles in class comes back the next time. I understand what its like to be that student and watching people grow and break through things that don't come easily the first time is amazing.
Favorite Quote
"You must do the thing you think you cannot do." Eleanor Roosevelt
Other Activities
Skiing, interior design, hiking, cooking, reading and travel.
Future Goals
I hope to own and operate my own Interior Design firm, have a family and continue to spread the yoga love around to the people that I come in contact with.
